Privacy Policy

DK1 Fitness respects your privacy and only collects data needed to operate the app, secure accounts, provide coaching features, and improve the service.

1. Controller

The data controller for DK1 Fitness is the operator of the DK1 Fitness platform. For privacy requests and support, contact support@dk1fit.fit.

2. Data we collect at registration

When you create an account, we collect the following information:

• First name
• Surname / last name
• Date of birth
• Account type, such as athlete or trainer
• Optional display name
• Email address
• Password, which is handled by the authentication provider and not stored in plain text by DK1 Fitness
• Anti-abuse verification data from Cloudflare Turnstile

3. Data we collect while using the app

Depending on which features you use, we may also store:

• Workout entries, exercises, sets, reps, weights, notes, and workout history
• Body measurements such as height, weight, shoulder, chest, arm, waist, hip, and quadriceps measurements
• Trainer-client relationships, invitations, and sharing settings
• Saved templates, training plans, and coaching notes
• Account and security data such as session tokens, password change requests, and login timestamps
• Support emails sent to support@dk1fit.fit

4. Why we use your data

• To create and manage your account
• To provide workout tracking, measurement tracking, and coaching tools
• To connect athletes and trainers when you choose to do so
• To secure the app and prevent abuse or unauthorized access
• To respond to support requests
• To improve and maintain the service

5. Cookies and session data

DK1 Fitness uses session cookies and technical cookies that are necessary for authentication, security, and core app functionality. We do not use these cookies for advertising.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers that help us run the platform, such as hosting, authentication, anti-abuse, or email infrastructure, and only when needed to provide the service.

7. Retention

• Account data is kept while your account exists
• Workout and measurement history is kept until you delete it or request deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by law
• Security and access logs may be retained for a limited period for abuse prevention and troubleshooting

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. You can contact us at support@dk1fit.fit to make a request.

Terms of Use

By using DK1 Fitness, you agree to these terms and to any updates we may publish from time to time.

1. Acceptable use

You agree to use the platform lawfully, not to attempt unauthorized access, and not to interfere with the security or operation of the service.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account.

3. Coaching and fitness information

Workout and measurement data are provided for tracking and coaching support only. They are not medical advice.

4. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or create security risks for the platform or other users.

5. Intellectual property

The DK1 Fitness name, design, branding, and platform content belong to DK1 Fitness or its licensors, except where user content is clearly owned by the user.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, DK1 Fitness is provided "as is" and we are not responsible for losses caused by misuse of the service, outages, or inaccurate user-entered data.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator's place of business, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
